COLUMBIA RECORDS Information/History This American record label is owned by Sony music entertainment and was founded in 1887, evolving from the American Graphophone company; it was founded by Edward D. Easton. In 1901, the company began selling disc and slowly became a company owning music artists. The main competitors for Columbia records were Edison with its cylinder and the Victor Company disc records. From 1961 to 1990, Columbia Recording were released outside North America under the name CBS Records to avoid confusion with EMI's Columbia Phonograph Company. As October 2012, there were 85 recording artists signed to Columbia Records, making it the largest of the three flagship labels owned by Sony Music. In 1902, Columbia introduced the 'XP' record, a moulded brown wax record, to use up old stock. Genre: House, Dance/Electric The music video begins with a close up of a boy holding his head and kneeling on the floor. This demonstrates that the boy is in distressed and confused. The camera pans around and zooms out; the audience is able to see the destroyed school hall around him. This was obviously caused by him as he is the only one in the school. As he walks away, he keeps looking around as he is cautious of his surroundings as if he is scared himself. By starting this way, it makes the audience to question what is going on which pushes them to see what happens next. The camera first pans around him and then tracks him as he starts running. The teachers are scared of as it's clearly seen in the facial expression and body language as the cower away; as they believe he is too strong or danger...
